The purpose of the site is to support the publication of the Visitor’s Guide book. The web contains many search features, both by category and location. It was planned that the site would be extremely user-friendly on a smartphone so that the main users who are foreign tourists have a good experience of the web during their journey. It was also necessary to take into account whether company registrations are paid or free and create a simple registration system for Icelandic companies, equality between advertisers as well as many other issues. The project was bigger and the owners of Visitor’s Guide were very happy with the result. We continue to work with the company on search engine optimization and digital media advertising.
